.travel sounds like a worthless domain name. I would probably not buy any domain with an extension like that!

I would imagine that it would be good for the numerous travel websites that place advertisements on TV, but for the little entrepreneur trying to start a travel agency, no...

I also don't have many butterflies in my stomach for this TLD, but lets see what it comes to when it is released. If it is ever released. There have been even talks about the .XXX tld which is already thrown out of the window by ICANN.

I would think that the .xxx domain extension would be way more popular than any of the new domain extensions proposed. I think most adult industry websites would want the more relevant extension to make more money - I think the type-in traffic would be huge if the average user was simply to type in what they wanted with a .xxx at the end.

I believe that still a lot of people will flock .travel. Of course everyone will want a piece of cake:) but of course .xxx still rocks!
